I’m walking away with more confidence, more skills, and a deeper sense of who I am as a journalist and a storyteller. We’re not at the finish line yet, but we’re getting there. And I’m really proud of this chapter.

Me and procrastination go together like white on rice — and I hate that for me. Every semester, I start off with the best of intentions. Every semester, I start off with the best of intentions.

This week was hard, to say the absolute least. However, a lecture about personal finance gave me valuable tools to utilize in the future.

This week, I had the chance to fill in at the anchor desk for Carolina Week, and honestly, it shifted something for me. I realized I might actually be capable of building a successful on-air career — maybe that isn’t so far-fetched. 

It’s already the end of March, huh?  Next week, I’ll be participating in a panel on women in the community to close out Women’s History...

I’m so excited to see where these friendships with F.O.F. lead. All I had to do was leave my comfort zone and my house to find them.
