This class has been so much more than just writing blog posts. We were also asked to produce a video about ourselves, along with two podcast episodes.

I really had to think about what I wanted to do for my video, because in the past, my personal projects have leaned a little dramatic. This time, I wanted it to reflect my current life, what that looks like day-to-day, with just a smidge of my humor thrown in.

I came across a trend on TikTok where people were using a new AI tool from CapCut that turns text into speech. A lot of content creators were using it to make narrated videos about their lives, and I thought — that’s perfect!

AI in general fascinates me, both for the pros and the cons. It’s kind of scary how advanced it’s gotten, being able to generate voices and images, but also… it’s undeniably cool and creative.

Personally, I use AI to help make my emails sound friendlier because I definitely have a habit of sounding too blunt sometimes.
