My focus is on delivering impactful work that tells the stories of real people, for real people.

As a storyteller with an abstract mind, I use my verbal, written, photography, and film skills to tell real stories. I'm a people person, and my focus is to deliver powerful work about real people for real people.

I currently serve as an Assignment Editor and Associate Producer at WRAL-TV in Raleigh, N.C. covering stories in the Triangle area, while also pursuing a master’s degree in journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill.
These experiences allow me to merge professional newsroom practice with academic rigor as I refine my storytelling craft and work toward my long-term goal of becoming a professor.

In my previous role as an Assignment Desk Assistant at ABC News, I honed my newsroom operations skills by monitoring breaking news, coordinating field coverage, and assisting producers across all platforms.
Prior to that, I served as the Race & Culture Intern in Washington, D.C., where I further developed my journalistic expertise. The Race & Culture vertical focuses on daily reporting and long-form special projects for all ABC News #1 network shows, including Good Morning America, World News Tonight, ABC News Live, GMA3, and digital platforms. In this role, I pitched, wrote, and produced stories about race, immigration, identity, LGBTQ+ rights, and their intersections with politics, education, healthcare, and pop culture.

My hope as a journalist is to bring tenacity, passion, and resilience to everything I do.
