I know—I’ve been M.I.A. this week. Managing my workload has been insanely demanding, so DON’T BEAT ME UP.

To make up for it, I’m sharing a TikTok from my Week in My Life. But instead of a well-edited, polished version, it’s just a chaotic collection of random .5 video snippets from my week. Hopefully, it gives you a glimpse into what life actually looks like for me.

Week in My Life -- a series of random clips from my week.

Next week, we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled programming. But in the meantime, I’m rolling out a new section of this blog that I’m really excited about.

Starting this week, I’ll introduce a new [person of the week] every Thursday, alongside the Tuesday [lessons of the week]. This segment will highlight different versions of what life in your mid-twenties could look like. You’ll get to meet different people between 24 and 27 who will share insights into their priorities, careers, family, dating life, and more.

Your twenties come with a unique set of societal pressures—so what does that look like for different people? How are they building healthy habits in this formative stage of adulthood? In what ways are they taking advantage of their youth, but leaning into their wirdom? How are they navigating friendships and relationships as adults?

[the developed frontal lobe] will ask—and hopefully, answer—these questions.

Later this week, we’ll meet Ellie McIntyre.

Ellie is a third-year law student at UNC-Chapel Hill. She loves running, reading and staying informed. This fall, she’ll be stepping into her nine-to-five career and learning to balance the responsibility that comes with being a lawyer. -- in December, she turned 25.

She credits her outlook on the freedom of living life to her dad.

Here’s a snippet of what she had to say:

I hope you’ll check back later this week to read more about Ellie.
